Oana Ionel (May 29th 1984 – May 28th 2023) was a visual artist and independent curator that lived and worked in Bucharest until her premature death in a tragic car crash. She graduated the National University of Fine Arts” (Bucharest). She held a PhD in Visual Arts since 2018 and she was also a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology” (The University of Bucharest). Between 2009 and 2010 she studied at „Ecole Supérieure d’art” (Grenoble, France).
